10 Days Til Christmas Giveaway at Smith's Olde Bar
What's up Smiths Olde Blog readers!
I'd say good morning, but I just realized it was already 1 p.m. and now all I can think about is - why haven't I had lunch yet?
I feel like this is a good time to start some sort of "10 Days Til Christmas Giveaway" thing. What do you think?
Yea, let's do that. We're going to do this "first come first serve" style.
From today until December 23 we're going to giveaway one pair of tickets for each show at Smith's Olde Bar. All you have to do is be the first to comment in the comment section with your name, email address and what show you want to go to.

Rebirth Brass Band - Postponed
We are very sorry to inform you that the Rebirth Brass Band concert, scheduled for Saturday, December 13 - has been postponed.
The new date is set for Saturday, February 28. All previously purchased tickets will be honored on 2/28.
We have yet to officially fill the slot for tomorrow at Smiths, but please check back for any updates.

Rebirth Brass Band at Smith's - Saturday, December 13
It's gross outside today. Gray, raining, not good.
So to pass the time - we shall blog!
We've got a great show this weekend - and by the title of this blog you may have guessed - straight from New Orleans - it's the Rebirth Brass Band!
It's the perfect way to shake off this rainy gray day - and relieve a little pre-holiday stress while you're at it!
*feel like you're right there in the middle of the French Quarter!
We're randomly selecting 2 lucky contestants and giving away 2 pairs of tickets to the show! All you have to do is leave your name and email in the comments section of this blog and on Friday at 5PM we'll pick the winners via a little something called "tic-tac-toe."

Fastball at Smith's Olde Bar - Ticket Giveaway!
It's not easy coming back after a good long break, tons of food, and a rainy cold weekend - but I wrestled out of bed and here I am, blogging and giving things away.
Tonight we have a very special show featuring Fastball - you might only know them from their late 90's hit single "The Way," but the Austin, TX pop rock trio has been putting out records and touring extensively for well over a decade.
On tour for the better part of 2008, Fastball is putting the final touches on a new record set to be released in the coming months.
So, since we're in the "giving season" I'm going to give away 2 pairs of tickets to tonight's show!

DJ Black Dominoes at Smiths Olde Bar
I was looking through our calendar online at www.smithsoldebar.com and I've gotta say - I'm getting very excited (aside from all the amazing upcoming shows of course) we've got a very special treat for you! Our favorite remixer/hit spinner - DJ Black Dominoes!
Atlanta's own DJ Black Dominoes is gonna be bringing the jams to S.O.B's main bar tonight, then he'll be performing upstairs on Saturday with Boombox - and follow that up with a late night jam session in the main bar! Sweet Jesus that's a can of awesome!
Not only has Black Dominoes shared the stage with some pretty amazing musicians and DJs - including Diplo, the Black Lips, DJ Klever, Flosstradamus, Explosions in the Sky, KRS-One, the Toxic Avenger, Man Man, and the Black Kids - but his remixes have made it all the way to NPR and BBC radio!
